
Cycling is a great way to see Perth's Eastern Region using pedal power. Extensive cycle paths and trails offer challenging mountain biking, scenic wildflower rides, river foreshore rides or wine and food tasting trails. The cycle trails can also connect with public transport train and bus services.

The 'Cycle Perth's Eastern Region' publication uses a series of 13 connecting of on-road, shared path and mountain biking trails accessible from the Midland Rail Line to cycle along the Swan River foreshore, north to the Swan Valley, and on-road cycling or mountain biking up to the Perth Hills.
The free 76-page publication includes detailed maps and information on local attractions and cycling facilities.

The Swan Valley Heritage Cycle Trail passes a variety of tourist attractions and award winning wineries in Perth's Valley of Taste. Mountain bikers will enjoy the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, Kep Track, or Munda Biddi Trail up in the Perth Hills.
