Event Description:
Looking for something fun to do to this summer for free? Can you throw a Frisbee? Then come and try Disc Golf!
Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and it has similar rules to traditional golf except players throw a flying disc (Frisbee) from a tee to an elevated metal basket to complete the hole.
You may have seen the recent article featuring Disc Golf in the 9 January West Australian, but what they forgot to mention is that disc golf is for everybody!
Members of the Perth Disc Golf Club and volunteers from DiscGolfPark will be at Jorgensen Park in Kalamunda on Sunday 5 February at 9am to teach people of all ages and all abilities how to play this fun and challenging sport.
Discs will be available to borrow or purchase on the day, and a full 18 hole disc golf course will be set up for everyone to play.
