Something is always happening in Perth's Eastern Region and Autumn is really special!

The 2012 Perth's Autumn Festival celebrates the magnificent Swan River, majestic Perth Hills and sumptuous Swan Valley with seven community based events held over seven weeks. With many free and low cost activities, Autumn is a great time of year for families and friends to do more and enjoy Perth's Eastern Region together. All activities take place in the Bassendean, Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda, Mundaring and Swan council areas.

The festival is working to become 'Clean and Green by 2013', and initiatives will be undertaken this year to continue making all partcipating events more environmentally friendly.

Off-road cycling in the natural setting of the Perth Hills.

• No bike? No riding buddies? No clue? No problem! There are rides for beginners, kids and families through to advanced riders.
• The foundation's experienced and friendly ride guides will be on hand to answer questions or help adjust your bike on this social and fun-filled day.
• Starting from the trail head in Mundaring there will be three ride options on the day - a 6 km beginner's ride perfect for families and those new to off-road riding, the intermediate 13 km trip and a 25 km ride for the more experienced off-road cyclists.
• After the ride (which finishes at Sculpture Park) you will be able to enjoy a relaxing massage and reenergise with a sausage sizzle, while the kids are entertained meeting some cute and cuddly animals and taking part in the other activities on offer.
• Numbers for this free event are limited so make sure you get in fast and register so you don't miss out - pre-registration is essential!
